Sermon Recap: Topic Worship
1. Don’t Ever get tired of Worshiping God 2. When you wake up in the morning tell Him how marvelous he is: a. When people are given a chance to bring remarks about someone they do so, so eloquently and willing, finding all the nice things to say but when given a chance to glorify God they don’t know what to say. 3. Pride stops worship, the flesh hates to worship God 4. People go to Junkanoo and elsewhere giving worship to the flesh and Satan all day and all night, but when it comes to the presence of God they get tired to worship. 5. The flesh is the enemy of the Spirit 6. KAMI is a worshiping church, it does not matter if people have things to say. The devil hates your worship. 7. The Lord inhabits the praises of his people and travels the earth to and fro looking for worshipers. 8. Worship takes your attention from your problem and put God at the center to receive 9. The Glory of God belongs to no man 10. When you die you go to heaven or hell 11. Men are vessels and human beings being used by God. We have all seen men and women rise and fall because they take the Glory for themselves. Be sure to give God all the Glory. a. “If you wanna be Great be humble, honorable and hospitable.” Dr. Kealfo Collie. 12. The first thing you should look for in Ministries and Ministers is if everything they say and do is about Jesus or themselves. Are they trying to exalt themselves about people and God? Remember that the church belongs to God, the money and the building belongs to the people and God. 13. What happens when one takes God Glory, they get judged by God: Lucifer got kicked out of heaven, Nebuchadnezzar ate grass and Herod got eaten by worms. 14. Steps that should be in place that we no longer see in the Christian walk: a. One get save through repentance b. They make a public confession – sharing testimony c. Gets water baptized d. Filled with the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking tongues e. They join the church and get discipled
